It
is reported that QianQiang, a boy less than 12 years old, living
in Wuhancity Area is crazy about watching TV cartoons and reading
books about scientific fiction, adventure and detective stories.
During summer vocation his parents had to go to work every day
so they locked him up and let him do his homework, reading and
watch TV inside the house.
On the morning of August, after his parents had gone to work,
Qiangqiang felt too much oppressed in side the room on the hot
day. He wanted to go swimming but hi couldn't get out because
the door was locked. At that moment, he recalled that he read
an article in the magazine saying a person jumped down from the
20th floor but didn't fall dead on the ground. Then he put on
the swimming pants, took out the old-fashioned cloth umbrella
crossing over the iron fences on the terrace and jumped down like
a pilot from the 3rd floor (over 10 meters high) to the asphalt
road. Owing to the umbrella's drag, Qiangqiang was not seriously
hurt when he reached the ground except that he had sprained ankles
and some slight bruises on his hands and legs.
